Yes BUX offers the possibility to take part in certain IPOs and FPOs of European companies.
Just to summarise what each of these are:
An IPO (Initial Public Offering), is when a private company sells its shares to the public for the first time on the stock market. The company is then considered to be ‘public’, and its shares can be traded on the stock market.
An FPO (Follow-on Public Offering,: is when a company that’s already listed on the stock exchange issues more shares to the public. It’s your opportunity to invest at the set offer price—before the new shares start trading on the open market.
To make it possible to take part in IPOs/FPOs, BUX has teamed up with a third party called PrimaryBid. This partnership empowers retail investors to participate in these opportunities directly through the BUX platform, giving them access to investment opportunities that were previously out of reach.
How do I participate in an upcoming IPO or FPO?
BUX will inform you via email if there is an upcoming IPO/FPO. If you are interested in participating you will be directed to sign up via form on a dedicated page on bux.com. Here you will need to provide some personal information and the amount you wish to invest. BUX will then check your eligibility, confirm your participation and inform you of the next steps and the timelines. Upon being invited to participate there will be a limited time for you to register.
