BUX is being acquired by ABN AMRO Bank, one of the largest banks in the Netherlands. This acquisition does not include BUX crypto activities. After thoroughly evaluating our crypto operations, we concluded that discontinuing and offering clients to transfer them to a trusted third party is the only feasible option.
From December 18th it will no longer be possible to buy crypto as all crypto’s have been set to ‘Sell only’. This is to help facilitate the decommissioning.
