When depositing money to your BUX account from Ireland you are making an international transfer by depositing it to a Dutch bank account (we’re in the Netherlands).

How does it work?

Most Irish banks will require you to first add and approve BUX as a new international Payee with your bank.

Once approved, you can deposit money using a SEPA transfer. Please don’t use SWIFT payment as we cannot accept these and the transfer will be returned to your bank account within 3 business days.

Here’s how to do it for the three major Irish banks: Allied Irish Bank, Bank of Ireland and Permanent TSB. You can also click on the link to check out the guide of your bank.

Not with one of the banks listed? Please check out the website of your bank or reach out to their customer support to ask how to make an international payment.
